It's hard to not have a tear spring to your eye when a friend flies all the way from Europe to sing as you walk down the aisle to meet your future husband. Marion and Dana's eyes locked as Marian was escorted across the spanning bridge on the arm of her mother with the familiar voice filling the ceremony site at Alpine Grove.
In a ceremony of simplicity and elegance, cultures and families were unified as mothers of the bride and groom began the ceremony with the lighting of candles. The candles were then used by the couple to light a unity candle before they were pronounced husband and wife. Radiant in her off-white dress accented with delicate crystals and pearls, nude shoes peaked out from beneath the full length, halter neck dress. Walking hand in hand as the newlyweds were enveloped in bubbles, they walked down the aisle.
For Marian & Dana wedding pictures just aren't complete without the inclusion of their (his) Harley Davidson! BUT not driving off into the sunset before, 'Who let the dogs out', launched the night into party mode as the bridal party were announced to this well known tune, including dog masks!
The couple's first dance, as a red shawl draped across the brides shoulders, Marion was transformed into "The Lady in Red", in keeping to the Chris De Burgh's lyrics,
"The lady in red is dancing with me, cheek to cheek
There's nobody here, it's just you and me
It's where I want to be
But I hardly know this beauty by my side
I'll never forget the way you look tonight"
Congratulations to you both. An honor and a pleasure to share and capture your day!
