Nestled in the lush vines at southern New Hampshire's Zorvino Vineyards was the beautiful setting for a stylized session I had the honor to be a part of. Last August I had the opportunity to create an 'Alice Though the Looking Glass' themed session working closely with owner and principle designer, Karen Flanders of Lady Slipper Creations. One of the best elements of being a part of this, is working closely with other great industry professionals who specialize in their own field, valuing their clients as much as I do, but also having the direct creativity that you don't always get on a day-to-day basis. Setting the scene for this whimsical storybook bridal session inspired by Lewis Carroll's children's book, we put our own twist on it incorporating peacock inspired colors and textures, along with elements pulled for the classic tale. From the elegance of a top hat and tea party to the intrigue of thru the looking glass in a world of my own.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
"So she sat on with closed eyes, and, and half believed herself in Wonderland"
― Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
